Welcome to the website of St Johns C of E School. Year 4 Homework. Core:. Reading: Children are expected to read daily from a wide selection of free reader books in the classroom or from the Year 4 suggested reading list on the school website. Some children may be given a book from one of the colour book bands that they can select from school to support them with their reading.
We at St. John’s see homework as a means of revising work done in school and which encourages parental involvement in their children’s studies. Homework is also important in the development of good work habits and promotes an attitude of independence within our pupils.
